Town Squares in Texas

A fusion of something old, something new, and something different.  Texas is steeped in history and most small towns are based on the traditional town square layout.  You know, the one with the courthouse in the middle, the church nearby, and the shops aligned on a main street.

Given this context, we feel it is important to use these existing design cues to help organize spaces and how a building fronts a street.  It would seem more appropriate to encourage people to walk between developments using sidewalks and avenues.  By doing this we can help create not just a place for people to visit, but an opportunity to experience community.
